Dec 30 2010 · A few points that I remember having installed many Burkay boilers and working with a company that was in business for 80 years. 1. install the circulation pump on the inlet of the boiler to keep pump temps down and increase longevity. 2. Install the cold water make up as close to the inlet of the storage take as practical.
Nov 25 2011 · The pump is not working. The room stat is calling and the boiler is firing but no circulation just the flow from the boiler heating up. I think the pump was working on dry pipes for a while when i lowered the water level to do a repair on the system for a while. Would i have over heated the pump?
Jan 15 2021 · The boiler doesn't have power: The circuit breaker or fuse controlling the furnace may have tripped or blown. Reset the tripped circuit breaker or replace a blown fuse. The water level is low: Maintain the water level in the boiler at half-full. The boiler's automatic filling system controlled by the pressure-reducing valve should maintain the proper water level at 12 to 15 psi of pressure.
Jun 07 2020 · To troubleshoot the circulator pump you will first need to make sure that the boiler is already hot (if not it is a thermostat problem) but the hot water is not being moved out of the tank. Wait until the boiler temperature reaches the required level at which the pump should
